I have just been sent a photograph of our green dated 1961, just a few improvements since then, in this shot the photographer has just missed Dave Rees cutting the green.

As always, we stayed at the Toorak Hotel in Torquay, this 92 room 3-star hotel is part of the TLH Leisure Resort hotel group and is situated in the heart of Torquay on the English Riviera.   Toorak is an Aboriginal word meaning “The swamps where the tea tree grows.” Luckily the Toorak is built on sturdier ground! It was the third hotel to join the TLH group back in 1986 when the Murrell family took it over. What a lovely afternoon at Severalls Jubilee Bowls Club lunch. This year we went to Cricket St Thomas Golf Club and we were made very welcome, what a great venue and the food and service lived up to our expectations. Here are some photos from the event. Thank you Kerry for the photography.
