Wessex Fours Cup Final

Severalls Jubilee Bowls Club hosted the Wessex Fours Cup Final on Sunday.

The game was between Ilmister and South Petherton.

Ilminster claimed their third trophy of the week in dramatic fashion, edging past South Petherton 77–75 in the Wessex Fours KO Cup final.

With Ilminster trailing by 2 shots on the final end, Terry Heath produced a moment of magic – driving the jack into the ditch to score 4 shots and secure the win! 🔥

Congratulations to both teams! It was great to hear players from both sides praising the excellent condition of our green, especially in a challenging year for greenkeepers nationwide. A huge credit goes to our team of greenkeepers and helpers who have worked tirelessly to maintain our green as one of the best in the area.
